Media momentum is building for Saturday’s international March For Our Lives rallies, with coverage slated by at least four major media outlets and numerous online sites.

LA - Washington - DC - New - York
Counting L.A., Washington D.C. and New York City, marches and rallies are being planned in 836 locations worldwide including Boston, Chicago, San Francisco, Liverpool and Reykjavik, to name a few, according to the March For Our Lives website. The event has received financial donations of at least $500,000 from George and Amal Clooney, Steven Spielberg and Kate Capshaw, Jeffrey Katzenberg and Oprah Winfrey.
Today, Lin-Manuel Miranda and Ben Platt were announced as marchers and performers for the Washington, D.C. rally. They will perform Found/Tonight, a mashup of two of the most recent Tony-winning Best Musicals. The song combines Hamilton’s Story of Tonight and Dear Evan Hansen’s You Will Be Found.

Several media outlets have also announced coverage plans for the rallies, which are attracting support from numerous celebrities and top politicians.
CBS News will provide extensive multiplatform coverage of the march, starting with CBS This Morning: Saturday and continuing on CBSN, CBS News’ digital streaming news network; on the CBS Weekend News; online at CBSNews.com; and on CBS News Radio. Also, CBS Sunday Morning and Face the Nation will recap the event on Sunday. The network will also present a one-hour documentary that follows a group of students in the aftermath of the Parkland, FL school shooting. The documentary, 39 Days, will be broadcast Saturday at 8 PM ET/PT on CBS....
