Laurieann Gibson is a Canadian woman who has been involved with the entertainment industries in a wide range of ways. Primarily, most people will be familiar with her because of her work as a choreographer. However, she has also been an actress, a dancer, a director, and a TV personality at other times. Here are five things that you may or may not have known about Laurieann Gibson:

Gibson was born in Toronto, which is the capital of the Canadian province of Ontario. Primarily, Toronto is famous for being one of the economic centers of Canada, which in turn, has contributed to its status as one of its cultural centers as well. With that said, it is amusing to note that the rest of Canada has what can be called a rather mixed opinion of Toronto because there is a perception that Torontonians are both self-absorbed and self-indulgent.

Living - Color - Sketch - Comedy - Series

In Living Color was a sketch comedy series that started up in 1990 and continued running until 1994. The name of the series was a reference to a NBC line that saw use in a time when black and white TV was still the standard.
