A California couple were watching TV Sunday night when a chunk of ice fell from a plane, crashed through their roof and landed on their bed.

Claudell Curry and his wife Odell Marie Curry, of San Bernardino, were in another room enjoying quality time together when they heard a 'horrendous boom'.

Couple - Home - Shook - Chunk - Ice

The couple said their home shook violently when the chunk of ice the size of a car engine fell into their home.

When Claudell went to investigate the loud noise, he found a large gaping hole in the ceiling of the bedroom directly over their bed.

Claudell told CBS that he found ice, pieces of insulation and drywall on their bed.

'Snow white, just ice, and heavy. Each piece was like iron,' he said.
