A McDonald's employee has been suspended after allegedly headbutting a customer in a fight over chicken nuggets.

Food - Giant - Matter - Urgency - Incident

The fast food giant said it was investigating as a “matter of urgency” after the alleged incident in the restaurant on Lord Street in Liverpool in the early hours of Tuesday.

It is understood a fight broke out at around 4.50am after a customer tried to order some McChicken Nuggets, but was told he couldn’t as the store was beginning to sell the breakfast menu.

In footage seen by the ECHO, a male employee and customer are locked in a scuffle, before the employee appears to headbutt the customer - losing his McDonald’s-issue reindeer hat in the process.
