Al Franken, under pressure to resign, to speak on Senate floor Thursday

Sen. Al Franken, D-Minn., is expected to discuss his fate in Congress during a Thursday speech on the Senate floor, according to Minnesota Public Radio.

Franken announced Wednesday he would hold a press conference after several Democrats in the House and Senate called on him to resign. Those calls developed Wednesday morning after a seventh accuser said he had claimed a right to grope women because he is an entertainer.
