Ed Sheeran has confirmed he will not perform live for the foreseeable future after fracturing his right wrist and left elbow in a bike accident.
Taking to Instagram on Tuesday, he announced the news fans feared after it was revealed the day before that he has been knocked off his bike in London shortly before he was due to fly to Asia to kick off a string of tour dates.

Sharing an image of his cast, the heartbroken star, 26, lamented the accident as he had an aide type the message while announcing the postponement of his planned concerts in Taipei, Osaka, Seoul, Tokyo and Hong Kong.
In his impassioned post, embattled Ed wrote: 'A visit to my doctors confirmed fractures in my right wrist and left elbow that will leave me unable to perform live concerts for the immediate future.

'Sadly, this means that the following shows will not be able to go ahead as planned: Taipei, Osaka, Seoul, Tokyo and Hong Kong.
