High School Shooting Near Spokane Kills 1; Suspect in Custody

A shooting Wednesday at a high school near Spokane, Washington, left one person dead and three others injured.

Police have the shooter in custody. The three injured are students at Freeman High School south of Spokane in Rockford, and are in satisfactory condition at a local hospital, the Spokesman-Review reported.

Shooting - Place - Time - Dozens - Vehicles

The shooting took place just after 10 a.m. local time. Dozens of vehicles responded to the scene, and parents also came to the school to make sure their children were safe.
