A family have been left fearing for their safety after a British takeaway owner was shot dead in Pakistan.

Jahangir Hussain, 29, from Blackburn, Lancashire, was fatally shot as he left his mother's home in the city of Jhelum on January 9.

Mother - Head - Attack - Injuries

It is understood his mother was also shot in the head in the brutal attack, although she is expected to recover from her injuries.

The fatal attack was reportedly over a dispute about property.

Victim - Zorba - Pizza - Balti - Takeaway

The 29-year-old victim ran the Zorba Pizza and Balti takeaway with his brother in Rossendale. He often visited Pakistan to see his family, who hold British citizenship.

Mr Hussain was the youngest of four siblings and had been due to get married next year.

Pakistan - Police - People - Connection - Incident

Pakistan police have arrested four people in connection to the incident, according to a report from the BBC, including a man, 60, a youth, a man and a woman. They are due to appear at Jhelum District Court.
