Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr.’s niece, Alveda King, celebrated her uncle’s legacy, the pro-life movement and President Donald Trump’s commitment to champion life, family and faith.

After extolling the martyr on MLK Day for his dream of love, faith and life, the pro-life leader touted two events being held days later: the 2020 March for Life in Washington, D.C., on Jan. 22 and the 2020 Walk for Life in San Francisco, California, on Jan. 25.

King - Director - Civil - Rights - Unborn

King, director of Civil Rights for the Unborn at Priests for Life, exhorts Americans to reignite the dream her uncle proclaimed more than half a century ago.

“Even though widespread conflict and mutual distrust abound, we still have a dream," she said in statement honoring the federal holiday. "So it's more vital than ever for us to reflect on the message of faith, love and life that my uncle shared with the world."

Unity - Diversity - Divisiveness - Today

She focused on unity instead the diversity and divisiveness frequently touted today.
