Florida woman takes bite out of police officer's leg and refused to let go

A Florida woman has been arrested after she was caught on bodycam footage taking a bite out of a police officer's leg and refusing to let go.

Sheriff's deputies from the Flagler County Sheriff's Office responded to 58 Brookside Lane in Palm Coast last Friday due to a domestic disturbance.

Arrival - Deputies - Cherie - Saunders - Resident

Upon arrival, deputies attempted to speak with 38-year-old Cherie Saunders, who had allegedly slapped a male resident of the home.

In bodycam footage, Saunders is heard screaming at the officers while standing in the driveway of her residence 'with her make-up smeared, no shoes, slurred speech, and a heavy scent of alcohol'.

F**k - Goddamn - Property - Yelling

'Get the f**k off my goddamn property right now!' she is heard yelling.

Officers are heard trying to speak with Saunders who continued to launch expletives at them.

Bye - Felicias - Deputies - Manner

'Bye bye Felicias,' she is heard saying before walking over to the deputies in a threatening manner.

The video then dives into chaos with Saunders kicking and screaming as deputies attempted to secure her in handcuffs.

Point - Struggle - Deputies - Saunders - Calf

At one point during the struggle, one of the deputies was bitten by Saunders on his right calf.

She appears to refuse to release her bite hold until another deputy was able to free her grip on his leg.
