Disney+ is finally coming to the UK as the entertainment giant moves forward its timeline for a launch and confirms it will now go live on March 24.
The platform will be home to original content, films and other series from studios including Disney, Pixar and Marvel as well as the Star Wars universe.
Shows - Disney+ - Mandalorian - Lady - Tramp
Eagerly anticipated shows featured on Disney+ include The Mandalorian, Lady and the Tramp and High School Musical: The Musical: The Series.
Since launching in the US last year it has been an enormous hit, with more than ten million people subscribing on the first day.
Player - Market - Netflix - Amazon - Prime
It is seen as a major player in an increasingly crowded streaming market that already features Netflix, Amazon Prime Video and Apple TV+.
Disney has confirmed that the new service will cost £5.99 for a monthly subscription, or £59.99 to sign up for a year.
Date - Service - France - Germany - Italy
On the same date, the service will also go live in France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Austria and Switzerland.
But Belgium, Portugal and Scandinavian nations will have to wait until the summer for Disney+.
