An adorable cross-eyed husky who was cruelly abandoned by her breeder because of her 'weird appearance' has finally found a 'forever home' after the shelter where she was living posted a viral plea on Facebook.
Four-year-old pup Jubilee has been living at the New Jersey-based Husky House for two years when staff decided to post images of her online, along with a sweet post about her desperate search for a home.
Surprise - Facebook - Post - Media - Storm
And to their surprise, the Facebook post too social media by storm, with hundreds of people applying to become Jubilee's family, including one pup parent who had already adopted a dog from the shelter in the past, and was chosen as the perfect person to take the cross-eyed husky home.
'Since the original Facebook post went viral, we received an overwhelming amount of love, support, and inquiries, including adoption requests,' a spokesperson from the shelter told CNN.
'We - Everyone - Feels
'We are so happy to see that everyone feels she is as wonderful as we always knew she was.'
The spokesperson added that Jubilee, who was carefully checked by a vet before being sent home with her new family, eventually found a 'forever home with a family that had previously adopted a dog from them'.
