Sen. Martha McSally (R-Ariz.) dismissed a call by CNN anchor Wolf Blitzer to apologize to network congressional correspondent Manu Raju for calling him a "liberal hack" on Thursday, telling Fox News host Laura Ingraham she "called it like it is."
The back-and-forth comes after McSally, when asked earlier in the day by Raju about new claims that President Trump was involved in a Ukraine pressure campaign, referred to the reporter as a “liberal hack." The retort came as Raju asked her the question while she was walking through a hallway in Congress.
Senator - Ingraham
"Senator, do you regret what you said?” asked Ingraham.
“No Laura, I do not,” McSally replied. “And I said it again actually as I went, I said, ‘You’re a liberal hack, buddy.’"
