Ithaca College Using Million Dollar Donation to Fund ‘Diversity in Media’ Scholarship

Ithaca College will use a $1 million donation from a prominent alum and media executive and his wife, a former broadcaster turned college dean, for a scholarship fostering diversity in media.

Disney CEO Bob Iger and his wife, Willow Bay, made the donation to establish the Iger-Bay Endowed Scholarship at Ithaca College.

Funding - Support - Excellence - Institution - Goal

The funding is in “support of academic excellence and the institution’s goal of becoming a national model for colleges committed to the values of diversity, equity and inclusion,” Ithaca College said in a news release.
