Over the last few days, “Justice League” has been making headlines yet again, due to the film’s rather bittersweet two-year anniversary. Celebrating the film’s release, stars such as Jason Momoa, Ben Affleck, Ray Fisher, and Gal Gadot not only shared pictures from the film, but also showed their support for the social media campaign #ReleaseTheSnyderCut, which led to many fans wondering if, after all this time, Warner Bros. is ready to release Zack Snyder’s original vision for the superhero film. Well, apparently that’s not the case.
According to THR, despite the groundswell of support over the last few days, specifically with some of the most high-profile endorsements the movement has seen yet, WB has no plans to announce a release of the Snyder Cut of “Justice League.” Nope, not even on HBO Max, which seemed to be the prevailing speculation over the last few days.

That being said, #ReleaseTheSnyderCut got another big endorsement during that time. However, it wasn’t from Zack Snyder or any of the other cast and crew from the film. Instead, it came from a former WB executive and former president of DC Entertainment, Diane Nelson. Instead of just pushing the hashtag on her Twitter, Nelson decided to share a text message exchange between her and a podcaster about the idea of Snyder’s original vision of the film coming to fruition.
