The dramatic incident occurred in Enid, northern Oklahoma last Thursday after the startled pooch jumped onto the center console and set off a loaded gun.
Cops - Scene - Tina - Springer - Agony
Cops quickly arrived on the scene to find 44-year-old Tina Springer writhing in agony.
Springer was a passenger in the vehicle, and the footage - released on Tuesday - shows her sliding out of the truck's right-hand side as she holds her left thigh.
Labrador - Center - Console - Drama
The Labrador, meanwhile, remains perched on the center console, seemingly oblivious to the drama she has inflicted.
Officers found three shell casings inside the truck, according to Oklahoma News 4.
Pup - Molly - Brent - Parks - Truck
The seven-month old pup, named Molly, belongs to Brent Parks, 79, who was driving the pick-up truck at the time of the shooting.
Springer acts as Parks' carer and the pair were running errands together before the incident.
Enid - Wounds - Tuesday - Evening
The Enid local was rushed to hospital to be treated for her gunshot wounds, and is due to be released on Tuesday evening.
Meanwhile, Mr Parks appears to be taking the accident in good humor.
