Yes, unfortunately it really is.

And though mega attention is focused on the Trudeau photo TIME dragged out of obscurity, that’s also Justin Trudeau pictured with his pants down and fly open from a February, 1992 Montreal Gazette story, headlined the ‘Buttony doo-dah’.

Justin’s an off-screen JOKER it would seem.

But the big problem is he’s heading into an October 21 Canadian federal election with 37% popularity.

Worrisome - Fox - News - Jesse - Watters

Worrisome, Fox News’ Jesse Watters, who may not be aware of the pants-down, fly open picture, thinks Trudeau may be re-elected, Arabian Nights scandal photo, notwithstanding.

“A part of me thinks he’s going to survive this,” Watters told Martha McCallum in a Fox interview last night.

Given that Trudeau—who identifies as a “Feminist”—seems to already be getting away with investing some $600-million in the Canadian mainstream media in an Election Year; who kicked off his election campaign on Sept. 11 under the cloud of a scandal over whether he pressured his then-attorney general to drop corruption charges against Canadian engineering firm, SNC-Lavalin and that he’s managed to keep an RCMP investigation into the firm — until after Election, no one should be surprised.

The brownface photograph has not been previously reported by any media.

“Earlier this month, TIME obtained a copy of the yearbook, The View, with the photograph of Trudeau in brownface from Vancouver businessman Michael Adamson, who was part of the West Point Grey Academy community. Adamson was not at the party, which was attended by school faculty, administrators and parents of students. He said that he first saw the photograph in July and felt it should be made public.
