Grace Mugabe covered her face as she left a funeral parlour in Singapore today following the death of her husband who passed away aged 95.

The window now faces possible prosecution for crimes committed while her husband Robert was in power.

Grace was dressed in black with a blue shawl covering her head. The widow is hugely unpopular back in her homeland, and is accused of stealing vast sums of the nation's wealth.

In Singapore she has been known to hit the designer stores of Orchard Road and further deplete her country's finances.

Today - Grieving - Widow - Gleaneagle - Hospital

Today, the grieving widow kept her profile low as she slipped out of Gleaneagle's Hospital after her husband passed away at 10.40am.

Later the family, including Robert's daughter and a woman believed to be Grace's sister, attended the chapel of rest funeral parlour Singapore Casket to pay their respects.

Onlooker - 'She - Country - Designer - Clothes

One onlooker said: 'She is best known in this country for showing off her designer clothes and been seen in the best shops.

'It was all different for today, but I was surprised that she had her face. Maybe the pain is too much for her she just doesn't want to share it.,

Secretary - Grace - Fondness - Luxury - Shopping

The 55-year-old former secretary, who is known as 'Gucci Grace' for her fondness for luxury shopping, enjoyed a lavish lifestyle in a desperately impoverished country.

Grace, who was by her husband's side when he died in Singapore, had been given immunity along with Mugabe by military authorities in Zimbabwe in November 2017.

But current president Emmerson Mnangagwa then told the BBC in January 2018 how he had not granted either of them immunity, although they would be 'left in peace'.

He said they got a 'lucrative' retirement package, adding: 'The new administration will do everything possible to make sure the family lives in peace, undisturbed.'
