Woman, 29, seriously injured in plunge from fifth floor of Birmingham tower block

A 29-year-old woman was seriously injured after falling from the fifth floor of a Birmingham tower block.

The woman, who has not been identified, was taken to hospital after the fall in the early hours of Saturday morning at the Quarry House block in Rednal, south-west Birmingham.

Officers - West - Midlands - Police - Woman

Officers from West Midlands Police are still investigating how the woman fell from the tower, which is seven floors high.

Earlier, two police cars and a cordon were seen near the block and an open window was pictured above the area which police taped off.
