Sarah Sanders set for lucrative lobbying job with firm set up by Bill Clinton's 'body man'

Sarah Sanders is in talks to join Teneo, a global consulting firm started by aides to former President Bill Clinton, to advise clients about Donald Trump's administration.

The former White House press secretary would serve as a contractor as opposed to a full time employee, reported Politico, which cited multiple sources on the matter.

Sanders - White - House - End - June

Sanders left the White House at the end of June and returned to her home state of Arkansas where there is talk she's considering a run for governor - speculation fueled by Trump himself who touted how great she would be at the job when she left his administration.

She's given some hints about her next move.

Website - Monday - Site - Relationship - Trump

She launched a personal website on Monday - a sleek site that touts her relationship with Trump and prompts visitors to 'stay in touch' by signing up for email alerts.

Her bio on that site - in addition to touting her work in Trump's administration - notes she 'advises major companies and non-profits.'

Sanders - Fox - News - Contributor - Network

Sanders also signed on to Fox News to become a contributor with the network beginning in September. During her tenure with the administration, Sanders would often appear on Fox News and Fox Business Network to defend the president and his policies.

The new gig will keep Sanders in the public eye and on Trump's television - the president is a frequent viewer of Fox News.

Teneo - Companies - Someone - Experience - Trump

Joining Teneo would allow companies to hire someone with experience working with Trump without actually having to hire a former member of his administration.

Teneo was founded in 2011 by Bill Clinton's former personal aide Doug Band; Declan Kelly, who worked in Hillary Clinton's State Department; and businessman Paul Keary.
