Jon Favreau Is “Holding Out Hope & Being Optimistic” About Sony/Disney ‘Spider-Man’ Deal

As we go into the weekend and the beginning of Disney’s D23 convention, the big topic of conversation regarding the Marvel properties is the recent drama surrounding Spider-Man. With Sony and the Mouse House not being able to come to an agreement about how to integrate the hero into the Marvel Cinematic Universe moving forward, it appears that there are big changes in store for the ‘Spider-Man’ film franchise.

However, one actor involved in the most recent Spidey outing, “Spider-Man: Far From Home,” is optimistic that a deal will be worked out. Jon Favreau, who plays Happy Hogan in the MCU, was seen in a flirtatious relationship with Aunt May in the most recent film and would love to see that duo explored more in the future.
