A person infected with measles visited several locations at two hotels in Las Vegas while contagious, officials have revealed.
The unidentified person, who was a visitor, was at the Luxor Hotel and Casino and the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino between August 1 and August 6, according to a statement from the Southern Nevada Health District.

Symptoms of measles usually appear between 14 and 21 days after exposure, so anyone who may have been infected will likely show symptoms between August 15 and 22.
This is the first case reported in Clark County in 2019 and comes as the largest outbreak of measles in the US since 1992 continues to sweep the nation.

The Southern Nevada Health District is urging anyone who thinks they may have been exposed to make sure their immunization records are up-to-date or to contact their doctor with questions.
'It is highly contagious, measles, and we want to make sure the people know they could have been exposed at the locations that we listed,' public information manager Jennifer Sizemore said told St George News.
