Jade Goody fans were left feeling 'uncomfortable' and 'in tears' when Channel 4 aired the Big Brother Shilpa Shetty race row in their documentary on Wednesday.
The second installment of Jade: The Reality Star Who Changed Britain focused on Jade's stint on Celebrity Big Brother back in 2007, where she, Danielle Lloyd and Jo O'Meara were accused of being racist towards Bollywood actress Shilpa.

Jade, who died in 2009 at the age of 27, has been remembered in the new Channel 4 documentary, with those who knew her discussing the star's initial fall from grace and her legacy in raising awareness of cervical cancer.
During the documentary, several scenes were aired in full, including when Jade called the actress 'Shilpa Poppadom' and mocked her for bleaching her facial hair.

Back in 2007, Ofcom received more than 44,500 complaints from the public (a record at the time) and the scenes caused just as much distress when they were aired again on Wednesday.
Such was the scandal at the time that although Shilpa did not lodge an official complaint about racist behaviour with Big Brother, her allegations compelled police to investigate the possible classification of her treatment as 'racial hatred'.
