Girl killed when rocks fall on vehicle in Glacier park

Falling rocks hit the top of a vehicle traveling on a scenic mountain road in Glacier National Park, killing a 14-year-old Utah girl and injuring her parents and two other children.

Park officials say the rock slide happened at about 7pm Monday near the East Tunnel on Going-to-the-Sun Road.

Rocks - Inches - Diameter - Height - Vehicle

Rocks ranging from fist-sized to 12 inches in diameter fell from an unknown height, shattering the vehicle's rear window.

A helicopter was sent to the site of the accident but the girl's condition was too 'unstable' or her to be flown.

Ambulance - Hospital

Eventually an ambulance was brought in to take her to hospital...
