A New York City art shop proprietor alleges he was brutally beaten by a group of teenagers in southern Manhattan because he was wearing one of Trump’s ‘Make America Great Again’ red caps.
Jahangir Turan, 42, revealed the attacked happened shortly before 7:00pm on Tuesday evening as he walked along Canal Street towards West Broadway.

He had been wearing his MAGA hat at the time, he told reporters, which he had purchased earlier in the day from Trump Tower.
Turan, who owns the David Parker Art Gallery, says a group of 15 to 18 teenagers took a dislike to the cap as he passed by them, prompting a girl to flick the hat off his head.

As he bent down to retrieve it, the rest of the group allegedly ‘started pounding on him’, knocking him to the ground and stomping on him. One individual allegedly grabbed his head and hit it against a pole, according to Turan.
