A mother is facing criminal charges over the death of her two-year-old son who was mauled to death by a pit bull at their Kentucky home.
Jennifer Geiling, 25 was charged with reckless homicide by a grand jury on Tuesday following the death of her son Isaiah Geiling.

The toddler was attacked by a pit bull on May 2 in Louisville.
The boy was taken to a nearby hospital around 1.15pm, where he died from blunt force injuries.

The dog, named King, has since been taken into custody by animal services.
The dog's owners, Jack Charpring Jr., 50, and Sharon Charpring, 53, who live at the same residence as Geiling, have also been charged with second-degree manslaughter in connection with Isaiah's death.
