Amazon Prime Video and Virgin have finally reached an agreement that will bring the streaming site's app onto the TV screens of TiVo users.
An automatic download will see the app appear on Virgin Media V6 boxes without customers needing to do anything.
Cent - Virgin - Customers - V6 - Box
About 60 per cent of all Virgin customers have the V6 box, the firm says.
It will mean it is accessible in the same interface as BBC iPlayer and Netflix for the first time.
David - Bouchier - Chief - Digital - Entertainment
David Bouchier, Chief Digital Entertainment Officer at Virgin Media, said: 'Giving our customers the telly they love in one place is at the heart of what we do.
'This is why, from today, Prime members or those subscribing directly to Prime Video with a V6 box will have seamless access to a huge array of blockbuster entertainment – from Amazon Originals like Good Omens and The Grand Tour to thousands of TV series and movies.
