Perth teenager saves a Chinese traveller who was swept into the water while taking a selfie in Bali

This is the heart-stopping moment a 19-year-old tourist risked his life to save a Chinese traveller who was swept into the water while taking a selfie at a dangerous cliff face.

Jake Davison, from Perth, shared footage to his Facebook of the daring rescue at Devil's Tears on the holiday island of Nusa Lembogan, south-east of Bali.

He jumped into the water and swam about 50 metres to get to the drowning tourist.

'When I got to him he just kept climbing on top of me and stuff and pushing me underwater,' Mr Davison told Nine News.
