Andrea Leadsom has urged Boris Johnson to appoint only true believers in Brexit to his Cabinet in a thinly-veiled swipe at Amber Rudd.
Former Commons leader Mrs Leadsom is hoping to make a return to the frontbench in next week’s reshuffle if Mr Johnson becomes Prime Minister.

Mrs Leadsom did not mention Miss Rudd by name, but her comments came just days after the Work and Pensions Secretary declared that she was no longer opposed to a No Deal Brexit in an attempt to cling on to her place in the Cabinet.
