Police in a Burlington County town are trying to find two men who distracted an employee at an Apple store and stole $2,401 from a cash register.
As the pair paid $3,900 for two laptop computers on July 2, one of the men reached into the register and grabbed a handful of cash, Evesham police said Tuesday.

The theft, which was reported to police at about 4:45 p.m., wasn’t discovered until several hours later when the drawer came up short, Lt. Joseph Friel said. Apple workers then notified police.
