Rapper Cardi B was indicted on two felony counts of attempted assault Friday in New York state court, along with several other lesser charges including harassment and reckless endangerment, according to the Associated Press.
The charges stem from an August 2018 brawl that took place at Angels Strip Club in Queens. According to the AP, police said the “Press” rapper and her entourage argued with a female bartender and that a fight broke out wherein chairs, bottles and hookah pipes were thrown, causing minor injuries to the bartender and another employee. TMZ reported that two bartenders said Cardi had a long-standing feud with one of them because the rapper believed the bartender had slept with Cardi B’s husband, rapper Offset.
