Perhaps the book isn't quite closed on the recently canceled sitcom A.P. Bio. Showrunner Mike O'Brien dropped the news on Friday that NBC pulled the plug on the series starring Glenn Howerton and Patton Oswalt in a heartfelt tweet urging fans to check out the series on Hulu. In the wake of the show's cancellation, fans took to Twitter to save the show with #SaveAPBio.

Oswalt also opened up about A.P. Bio's dismissal after two seasons, urging fans not to give up and to keep streaming the series on Hulu. "I mean, there's no better way to spend Memorial Day than binge-ing @NBCAPBio on @hulu. Who KNOWS what might happen if those numbers spiked? Whoooooo knows? #SaveAPBio #BingeBioOnHulu" he wrote.

O'Brien - Deadline - Article - Show - Portion

O'Brien shared a Deadline article which confirmed that while many didn't watch the show live, a good portion of its audience streamed the show later. "Even this nice article quotes our NIGHT OF numbers and not dvr/streaming (how most people watch tv now days and the argument for a streaming site to make serious money off the millions we'd bring!) Sorry our fans don't watch it live! Doesn't mean we don't have fans. #SaveAPBio," O Brien said.
