Godzilla: King Of The Monsters final trailer shows Godzilla roaring into battle to save the world

There's less than a week until the release of Godzilla: King Of The Monsters, but fans were treated to a final glimpse of new footage on Friday.

The final look trailer shows a bevy of action scenes between the eponymous lizard and his fellow giant monsters.

Clip - Relationship - Beast - Vera - Farmiga

The short clip also fleshed out the relationship between the beast and Vera Farmiga's character, who advocates for resurrecting Godzilla to battle the destructive creatures.

The trailer opens in the middle of the action as the Kaiju begin to rise from their resting places under the Earth's surface.

Clip - Mirrors - Trailer - Rise - Mothra

The clip mirrors a previous trailer showing the rise of Mothra, Ghidorah and Rodan, but the new clip features slightly different footage of the three monsters.

We get a better view of the three-head King Ghidorah rising up from the sea in the new clip with Zhang Ziyi reciting their names once again.

Clearer - Shot - Rodan - Inferno

There's also a clearer shot of pterodactyl-like Rodan emerging from a volcanic inferno.

The footage, set to the iconic line 'Don't call it a comeback' from LL Cool J's Mama Said Knock You Out, also gives fans a better idea of Godzilla's surprising speed and physicality as it knocks down a cell tower while tackling one of Ghidorah's heads.
