BAFTAs TV 2019: Fleabag's Phoebe Waller-Bridge reunites with 'Hot Priest' Andrew Scott

They left viewers lusting after their fling on hit BBC series Fleabag.

And show creator Phoebe Waller-Bridge and her co-star Andrew Scott had the BAFTA TV awards audience in stitches with an innuendo-laden speech as they took to the stage to present the award for best mini-series.

Taking to the stage at London's Royal Festival Hall, Phoebe, 33, began her speech by saying: 'Just because something feels perfect, doesn’t mean it should last forever'.

Andrew, 42, then chimed in and prompted laughs from the audience when he said: 'The nominees for this first award know that it’s not just the length of a thing, but what you do with it, is what matters.'

Smiling, Phoebe said: 'It’s not just you’re enjoying when it’s happening, there is something comforting in knowing that it will end.'

Andrew added: 'We can say with confidence that in this series, size really does matter'.

The mini-series award was won by Patrick Melrose for Showtime and Sky Atlantic.

Phoebe's Fleabag enjoyed a fling with Andrew Scott's Hot Priest character on the hit BBC comedy series.

The actress beamed with delight as she reunited with Andrew on the red carpet.

The actress and writer caught the eye with her bold fashion statement at the event, where she donned a powder blue gown, complete with a quirky cape feature.

Phoebe - Show - Killing - Eve - Drama

Phoebe, whose show Killing Eve is nominated for the Drama Series prize, highlighted her stunning physique in the form-fitting ensemble, tied in with a turtle-shaped neckline and quirky pockets.

Injecting a hint of pazzazz to her appearance, the brunette accessorised with a pair of silver dangle earrings.
