Former FBI director and frequent President Trump critic James Comey will take questions during a live CNN town hall next week.

May 9 marks exactly two years since Mr. Comey was famously fired by Mr. Trump, purportedly over his handling of the investigation into Hillary Clinton’s use of a private email server.

CNN has recently held town halls for most of the 2020 Democratic presidential candidates. Mr. Comey, who is not a contender, fueled speculation on April 1 that he was joining the race, only to reveal later that it was an April Fools Day prank.
