Burger King releases Real Meals that are based on a variety of different moods

Burger King has unveiled a selection of meals designed to suit a variety of different moods, as it aims to spread the message that 'no one is happy all the time'.

The new options, dubbed 'Real Meals', are inspired by a selection of different moods, including the Pissed Meal, Blue Meal, Salty Meal, YAAAS Meal and DGAF Meal. However, 'happy' is not one of the choices.

Idea - Meals - Wednesday - May

The idea behind the new Real Meals, which were unveiled on Wednesday, May 1, is to celebrate 'being yourself' and feeling 'however you want to feel'.

Burger King stated in a press release that the brand 'believes in authenticity and welcomes all guests'.

Extension - People - Way - Way

'A natural extension of encouraging people to "be their way" is encouraging them to "feel their way."

'With the pervasive nature of social media, there is so much pressure to appear happy and perfect,' it added.

Release - Meals - Brand - Awareness - Importance

And with the release of Real Meals, the brand wants to bring awareness to the importance of mental health and celebrate 'being yourself' and 'feeling however you want to feel'.

To help bring attention to the cause, the burger chain partnered with Mental Health America on the campaign and selected May for launch as it is Mental Health Awareness Month.

Mental - Health - America - Nation - Needs

Mental Health America is the nation's leading community-based non-profit dedicated to addressing the needs of those living with mental illness and to promoting the overall mental health of all Americans.

The non-profit organization took to Twitter to announce its involvement in the campaign on Wednesday, saying: 'We teamed up with @BurgerKing to bring #mentalhealth awareness to the table.

'Feelings - Facts - FeelYourWay - MentalHealthMonth

'Feelings aren't facts, but they're real and so are you. It's ok to not be ok, so #FeelYourWay this #MentalHealthMonth.'
