Investigators say four people found dead inside a Texas home on Monday were members of the same family and had all been shot.
Fort Worth police said in a news release Tuesday that the bodies of the man, woman, boy and girl were found in the property of a residential development in the northern part of the city.
Person - Bodies - Sister - Woman - Shot
The person who discovered the bodies was reportedly the sister of the woman shot, wife to the deceased man and mother of the two children who are said to be a five-year-old girl and a boy who was nearly two.
NBC - Mother - Home - Lunch - Bodies
NBC reported the mother had gone home to have her lunch and came across the injured bodies of her sibling who was looking after her children.
Her spouse was supposed to be working at his job in medical sales. He recently started working at a new company, NBC 5 reported a relative and police told them.

NBC reported that preliminary evidence suggested the man murdered the woman and two youngsters before killing himself.
The relative said the mother of the deceased children wasn't aware her husband had a gun in the house.

They added about a possible motive: 'We don’t have a clue. They were a loving family.'
However the official word from police is that the circumstances around their deaths remain unclear.

Police spokesman Buddy Calzada said no determination has been made on whether it was a murder-suicide.
Officers went to the home on the 2000 block of Speckle Drive at 12.02pm Monday after receiving a call about the family.
