Sir Elton John revealed he wanted the Rocketman biopic to be as 'honest' as it could be because the 'lows were very low, and the highs were very high.'
The musical icon, 72, spoke candidly in a featurette released on Tuesday, when he admitted he was keen the film didn't hold back because he wanted the adaptation of his rise to fame to be true to life, even if there were negative aspects to it.

Speaking about the film, Elton explained: 'It had to be as honest as possible, the lows were very low, and the highs were very high and that’s how I wanted the film to be.'
