Chloë Grace Moretz Was Warned Not To Be Outspoken & Distances Herself From ‘Shadow In The Cloud’ Writer Max Landis

It really is difficult to believe that Chloë Grace Moretz is only 22-years-old. With a film career that spans almost 15 years, the young actress has starred in dozens of projects, including major blockbusters, terrible horror films, great indie dramas, and R-rated comedies. Despite her young age, Moretz is someone that’s been around the block, so to speak, in regards to her filmography. And through it all, she’s continued to be outspoken in regards to social issues and the way women have been treated in the industry. So much so, that people actually have warned her against talking so much.

And in a new interview with The Guardian, Moretz explains why she’s so outspoken and throws a little shade at a fairly big name in the business, in the process.

Over the last year, the actress has been seen in films like “The Miseducation of Cameron Post,” “Suspiria,” and “Greta.” In a business where a lot of big name folks take time off, Moretz keeps chugging along. And somehow she still finds time to chime in about the current state of the industry as it relates to women.

Her next film is “Shadow in the Cloud,” which is a thriller about a female WWII fighter pilot. But when the film was announced, people didn’t really care about the fact that Moretz would play a pilot or what the actual plot was.
