A popular Florida sports radio presenter has been arrested after police say he attempted to solicit a 14-year-old boy for sex online.

Justin Pawlowski, 37, better known to local football fans as 'The Commish,' was taken into custody at his home in St Petersburg on Wednesday and booked into the Pinellas County Jail on charges of unlawful use of a two-way communication device; use of computer services to solicit a minor, and transmission of harmful material to a minor.

He was freed the same day after posting $6,000 bail.

According to the Tampa Police Department, the veteran broadcaster sent an explicit photo depicting his genitals to 'what he believed to be a 14-year-old boy.'

Pawlowski - Interest - Teen - Occasions - Acts

Pawlowski also allegedly expressed interest in meeting with the teen on several occasions to engage in sexual acts, reported Tampa Bay Times.

Police did not say whether the suspect was caught allegedly trying to solicit an actual child, or an undercover officer posing as the teen online as part of a sting operation.
