Richard Madden reveals he'd love to be a 'Bond Boy' to a female version of 007

He's been heavily tipped to play James Bond after Daniel Craig leaves the role.

But Richard Madden admitted that he'd be just as happy to be a 'Bond Boy' to a female version of the character, as he think's there'd be an 'interesting dynamic'.

Interview - Vogue - May - Issue - Tuesday

Speaking in an interview for Vogue's May 2019 issue on Tuesday, the 32-year-old actor said: 'If it was a good part. If it was an interesting part, a Bond Boy would be an interesting dynamic. Why not?'

The Scottish star is the latest in a long line of actors to be connected with Bond following Daniel's decision to give up the role some 15-years after making his debut in Casino Royale.

Tom - Hiddleston - Idris - Elba - Aidan

Tom Hiddleston, Idris Elba, Aidan Turner and James Norton have also been linked with the role, but Madden has emerged as front-runner following his appearance as protection command bodyguard Sergeant David Budd.

Speaking in 2018, the actor - who found fame as the doomed Robb Stark in Game Of Thrones - admitted he was honoured to be associated with Bond.

'This is what happens with all these shows, like Tom Hiddelston in The Night manager. Then there's the next one. I'm the next one,' he told GQ.

'I'm more than flattered to be mentioned, for people to consider putting me in that role. I'm very flattered and thankful. It's a really brilliant thing to be in. I don't want to curse anything by saying anything.'
