‘Deerskin’ Starring Jean Dujardin & Adèle Haenel To Open 2019 Cannes Directors’ Fortnight

We are still a couple of weeks away from the official announcement of the 2019 Cannes Film Festival lineup. However, reports are surfacing left and right about which films probably will or won’t make the cut. On the Directors’ Fortnight side of things, we now have a good idea which film will likely kick the program off, and it has some major French star power.

Deadline is reporting that “Deerskin,” the latest film from director Quentin Dupieux, will premiere on opening night of Directors’ Fortnight. As for the aforementioned star power, the comedy stars Oscar-winning actor Jean Dujardin and actress Adèle Haenel.
