Don Jr. savages Michael Avenatti who faces trial for extortion

Donald Trump Jr. threw a series of elbows at Michael Avenatti across four time zones on Thursday, telling DailyMail.com that the disgraced lawyer is guilty of every accusation he's leveled at the president and his family – and that he's personally enjoying watching the Trump family's nemesis fall.

'There's a little bit of schadenfreude there,' Trump Jr. grinned after he warmed up the president's rally crowd in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Schadenfreude is a German word that refers to pleasure derived from other people's misfortune.

Avenatti - Prominence - Actress - Stormy - Daniels

Avenatti, who gained national prominence by representing porn actress Stormy Daniels in her battles with the president, faces federal charges for allegedly trying to extort $25 million from Nike and embezzling from a client in a separate case. The investigation reportedly revealed years of tax dodging.

In a brief interview, Trump Jr. cited Avenatti as someone who 'has made a career and a name for himself attacking you, saying you're going to be going to jail, that you're the worst, that you're committing treason, all this nonsense – and he's the guy actually doing it.'

Speech - Capacity - Crowd - People - Audience

His energetic and caustic speech revved up a capacity crowd estimated at 12,500 people while a sizable overflow audience watched on video screens outside.

The Trump scion announced that 'MAGA,' shorthand for the president's 'Make America Great Again' slogan, 'stands for something a little different: "Michael Avenatti Got Arrested!" MAGA!'

'He's going to jail for a long time, it seems,' Trump Jr. said.

The outspoken Trump sun blasted CNN for treating Avenatti as a potential challenger to the president just 'four weeks ago,' claiming that CNN on-air talking heads had said, "Michael we're going to take you seriously as a presidential contender".'

'That's how insane they are!' he said.

'It went from "Avenatti 2020" to "Avenatti 20-to-25." Maybe 50. Who knows? Seems like he did a lot of bad...
