Inside Corrie star Sam Aston’s Scottish stag do: Actor dons a ginger wig and kilt ahead of nuptials

Coronation Street mainstay Sam Aston has been partying up a storm in Edinburgh for his stag party, as he is set to tie the knot later this year with fiancée Briony Gardner.

The actor, 25, who takes on the role of Chesney Brown, has been involved in some raucous antics with his pals in the Scottish city, which feature in a slew of social media posts by co-star Alan Halsall.

Sights - Trip - Sam - Inspiration - Locals

As they soaked up the sights - and the ale - on their trip, Sam also seemed to take inspiration from the Scottish locals with his attire, donning a ginger wig and kilt for the night out on the town.

In one snap it seems the beer was already in full flow from the early hours, as Alan shared a glimpse of his pint with the caption 'Morning.'

Another post pokes fun at Sam's wife-to-be and her chosen profession, as he can be seen holding a sign that says 'I hate yoga.'

Alan also posted a hilarious snap of trays of ale and beer for Sam's wedding party, which also included co-star Colson Smith - who plays Craig Tinker.

And just hours after arriving it seemed Sam was moulding into the Scottish locals, as he dressed up in a ginger wig and tartan kilt, as Alan laughed hysterically at him.
