President Trump Tweets Praise for North Korean Dictator, Ridicules Spouse of White House Aide

In Tweets he has sent out over the past month, President Donald Trump has praised North Korea’s Communist dictator Kim Jong Un and attacked the husband of his White House adviser Kellyanne Conway.

On Feb. 28, after an unproductive summit meeting in Vietnam, Trump held a press conference at which he said: “We spent pretty much all day with Kim Jong Un, who is quite a guy and quite a character, and I think our relationship is very strong.”

The president then sent out a Tweet with a video clip of him saying this.

Before that, as the summit was proceeding, Trump had sent out a couple of other positive Tweets about his engagement with Kim.

Meetings - Dinner - Tonight - Vietnam - Kim

“Great meetings and dinner tonight in Vietnam with Kim Jong Un of North Korea,” Trump tweeted on Feb. 27. “Very good dialogue. Resuming tomorrow!”

Later that same day, Trump sent out another Tweet saying: “Great meeting and dinner with Kim Jong Un in Hanoi, Vietnam tonight. Looking forward to continuing our discussions tomorrow.”

Days - George - Conway - Husband - White

In recent days, George Conway, the husband of White House aide Kellyanne Conway, has sent out a series of Tweets arguing that President Trump has a personality disorder.

One of those Tweets retweeted an article in The Atlantic by former President George W. Bush aide Peter Wehner that focused on Trump’s attacks on the late Sen. John McCain.
