A divorced GP shot his PR girl lover in the head before killing himself with the same gun after allegedly stealing '£400,000 in NHS cash' and fleeing the UK to Cape Verde.

Titus Bradley, 42, and Noemi Gergely, 28, allegedly left Britain for the Cape Verde in 2017 as Sussex police launched an investigation into missing money linked to his medical practices.

Bodies - Police - Divin - Art - House

Their bodies were discovered by police at the Divin Art guest house on the island of Santo Antao after guests heard them arguing in their apartment, an inquest into Mr Bradley's Bournemouth heard.

Officers found a note in the GP's passport which contained the quote 'time to die' from the iconic sci-fi movie Bladerunner.

Ms - Gergel - PR - Receptionist - Hotel

Ms Gergel, who worked in PR, told the receptionist at hotel that Mr Bradley had 'struck her', before she returned to their room, where the couple were later found dead, the Dorset Echo reported.

Staff at the hotel had heard gunshots before the couple were discovered.

The bodies of the GP and Miss Gergely were found at the guest house just two days after they checked in.

After the couple were found slumped on the bathroom floor, police were called.

Note - Passport - Richard - Middleton - Assistant

Referring to the note found in the passport, Richard Middleton, the assistant coroner for Bournemouth, said: 'It is dated March 1 and starts with the phrase 'Time to die'.

'It makes reference to him having an automatic gun, apologises for mistakes he has made and makes reference to him knowing some day he would be caught..'

Wounds - Head - Pistol - Scene - Heard

They died from gunshot wounds to the head, believed to be fired from a pistol found at the scene, the inquest heard.

The couple had fled the UK with up to £400,000 in stolen money and Sussex Police launched an investigation into the stolen cash, The Sun online reported.
