Rami Malek is close to adding “bad guy” to his resumé.
The actor, who just took home Best Actor at the 2019 Oscars for Bohemian Rhapsody, is reportedly finalizing his contract to play the next villain in the James Bond franchise, according to Collider. Malek would be playing the bad guy opposite Daniel Craig, who is set to retire as the martini-drinking secret agent after this outing.

Malek was previously in talks to star as the villain before, Variety reported, but had to drop out due to scheduling conflicts with his USA show Mr. Robot. But now that the movie has been pushed back and filming isn’t set to start till later, Malek is once again in position to sign on to the 25th Bond movie.
