ROME, February 16, 2019 (LifeSiteNews) — Following today’s news that the Vatican has laicized disgraced ex-Cardinal Theodore McCarrick, for crimes against minors and adults, Mr. James Grein — McCarrick’s most well-known victim – has issued the following statement through this lawyer.
Mr. Grein, who was sexually abused by Theodore McCarrick from age 11, bravely came forward in July to tell his story in a New York Times article, revealing only his first name. Then in November, James, now in his 60s, spoke at a rally outside the USCCB fall meeting in Baltimore, revealing his full name.
