With director Spike Lee eyeing the first Oscar of his illustrious career for Best Picture nominee BlacKkKlansman, the filmmaker has now set up his next project.
The 61-year-old filmmaker has set up his next film, a Vietnam veteran drama entitled Da 5 Bloods at Netflix, with Black Panther star Chadwick Boseman attached.

The director is certainly striking while the iron is hot, with Variety reporting that production is scheduled to start next month, after Lee wraps up his Oscar campaign for BlacKkKlansman.
The story follows a group of Vietnam veterans (presumably five of them, going by the title) who make their way back into the Vietnam jungle to, 'find their lost innocence and put their broken selves back together.'
Boseman - Delroy - Lindo - Jean - Reno
Boseman will be joined by Delroy Lindo and Jean Reno, who are also in negotiations to star in the film.
'To quote my brother Jay-Z from Da People’s Republic of Brooklyn "On to Da Next One,"' Lee said in a statement.

This project will be Lee's first feature film he's directed for Netflix, but he previously established a relationship with the streaming giant with the TV series She's Gotta Have It.
