Things just went from bad to worse for Virginia Lt. Gov. Justin Fairfax, whose accuser has released disturbing details about his alleged sexual assault.
Vanessa Tyson, now a professor of politics at Scripps College in Claremont, California, claims that Fairfax sexually assaulted her at the Democratic National Convention in 2004.

The alleged sexual assault first came to public light on Sunday. Fairfax initally issued a statement denying the allegation completely, but then clarified that there was an enounter but that it was consenual.
Tyson said the incident occurred on the third day of the convention. She’d met Fairfax over the course of the previous two days because both were working at the convention.
